About Me
My husband lured me to Rockland County from a crowded one-bedroom apartment in New York City. Once here, I reveled in the larger living quarters, the garage for our three kayaks and five bikes, as well as the luxury of taking a run without battling heavy traffic. Fourteen years later, I'm happy that my kids have space to grow and access to a first rate education in Rockland's award-winning public schools.
I've lived in Nyack, Palisades and West Nyack. I'm a card carrying member of the local PTA, and class mom. I squeeze in my yoga workouts and runs along the Hudson River between work and caring for my family.
I hold a BA with a double major from Colgate University in Hamilton, NY.
Prior to my real estate career, I designed and produced new media products for ABC, The Walt Disney Company and various Internet start-ups. A twist of fate on 9/11/2001 change my life forever, and prompted my career change. I've never looked back.
Real Estate Experience
As a consistent multi-million dollar producer, I've enjoyed helping a wide variety of people find the perfect buyer or the perfect home -- many clients become good friends during the process. I specialize in old home aficionados, first time buyers, former city dwellers and growing families.
Over the course of my career, my listings have sold for over 97% of asking price, compared to 95% for the average agent in my MLS. My listings have sold in 66 days, compared to 103 days for the average agent in my MLS. This means my clients get a higher return on their investment, and are on their way to their next destination quickly.
I have sold real estate out of offices in Piermont and New City. I've represented buyers and sellers all over Rockland County, NY and Orange County, NY, too. In September 2008, Keller Williams Hudson Valley Realty will open an office in Nyack, NY and I am on the Agent Council which determines the policies and runs the day-to-day operations of the office. It's a very competitive environment and a lot of fun, too.
I am a member of the Agent Leadership Council for Keller Williams, and for 2007 and 2008, have been a capping agent.
I am a Realtor, a member of NAR, NYSAR and the Greater Hudson Valley MLS. I earned my real estate sales license in 2003 and my broker's license in 2005. I am currently working toward my GRI (Graduate of Realtor Institute) degree.
